We are looking for an experienced service manager to lead our service team with immediate effect. If you are used to working in modern management structures and are prepared to take on an independent and responsible role, then we look forward to receiving your application.

Responsibilities

Management and development of employees and apprentices in the service area

Organization of the daily routine - active cooperation at peak times, illness or as a substitute.

Organization of banquet events (preparation, scheduling, handling of weddings, celebrations, etc.) 

Allocation of service staff, communication (briefings, short meetings)

Schedule organization incl. seminar support in cooperation with the seminar leader, time records, vacation plans, temporary staff

Apprentice training (creating curriculum, coordinating training courses, being the contact person, school ....)

Clearly design, optimize and distribute tasks for employees 

Host role for important guests, seminar trainers, VIPs, regular guests, celebrations, tour guides, etc. 

Recruitment of new service staff in cooperation with the director

Training new employees 

Optimizing processes

Acting as a role model for all employees (appearance, quality awareness, punctuality, cleanliness, quick working methods, professional knowledge, etc.) 

Meeting culture (preview, management meeting, internal meetings, further training)

Quality management (attentiveness, friendliness, customer orientation), cleanliness, decoration, lighting, climate, music, table & service culture, uniforms, language culture;

Controlling of settings, receipts and correctness of billing

Designing the food and drinks menus in collaboration with the head chef and reception

Machine repairs in coordination with the building services department

Sales promotion of food and beverages (additional sales, wine displays, beverage sales in the evening, bar promotions)

Beverage & inventory purchasing, WES control, monthly inventory

Stock keeping

Job requirements

IT skills: Good knowledge (Micros, Hotelkit, Microsoft programs)

Work permit: EU citizens preferred (no license required)

Working hours: Full-time (willingness to work weekends [Saturdays for events etc.])

Work experience: 7 years

Management experience: 4 years

Further education and training: Very good F & B knowledge

Driving license B

Own vehicle is required

Ideally residence in the immediate vicinity of the company
